Domus Henrici Hotel 4 star hotel

Domus Henrici - is a private hotel, an old historical building situated in the area of Prague called Hradcany, close to Prague Castle ( Hrad ) - used to be the seat of Czech kings.

Hotel Domus Henrici History
The first written note of the house dates back to 1372 as an entry in Tomek's Chronicle in. The house was owned by a Mr. Jindrich (Domus Henrici) who was registered as the owner until 1381.
Later in 1806 the building was the office of the Imperial Court.
At the end of 1807 converted into a private institute for the blind.
The Karlasova family owned the building since 1926 and submitted a plan to adapt the building for use as a hotel, their descendants still own the building.
Today
The current building still has vestiges of its original architectural features from past, no wonder that the building was one of the most beautiful renaissance buildings in the area.
The hotel is located with nearly all of the most popular sights within easy reach on foot or by tram. Guests can visit neighbouring restaurants and make use the nearby recreation and relaxation centre.

 Breakfast is a buffet, served from 7:30-10:30 with a period tiled stove. Coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks, omelettes, toasted sandwiches and other light snacks are served throughout the day.
